So you have pulled the coke out of the headliner and built yourself a time machine. You have six slugs of plutonium literally burning a hole in your pocket. So, which three times would you go to and why?

Mine:

1969 - I want to see a Saturn V fly and I want to buy some war birds before the price sky rockets.

2215 - it will be cool to see how much of Florida is under water and how little everything else has changed.

2974 - Starships

Far enough into the future where humanity has perfected time travel for the masses and buy one for myself. Infinite time travel.

I wouldn’t. Wouldn’t be accustomed to the foods and germs, so I’d get sick pretty quick. Plus, I’d be a walking bioweapon against those around me.

And even though I believe time is a closed loop, I’d really rather not find out that it isn’t and accidentally end up in an alternate timeline. I’m pretty okay with this one.

With 6 slugs, you could go to 5 different times and back. Just don’t come back in between.

2007 - Tell past me NOT to get involved with the people who would eventually push me towards a suicide attempt. (No worries, me in 2007 hadn’t yet experimented with gender, so he wouldn’t know who I am.)

3000 - See what’s going on in the future.

1912 - Save Titanic, drive a car from today around NYC just for shits and giggles.

1985...Just for a minute to buy a little stock in these up and coming companies Microsoft and Apple.

2500- Just to see if we made it offworld yet

I will poop all over your party.

If I was a real party pooper, this would be my answer:

“I’d travel back in time to your house, exactly as you were typing this question, and smack you for asking such a dumb question. Then I’d use my other two trips to also go back to that moment, and high-five myself.”

1996 see what my car looked like as new

I saw them in the late 80s. I think I was in Junior high. Apparently Huey was a bit down as he lost someone close a few days before, but the band sounded great.

1706 The Founding of my home town. I would love to see how this land looked before all the urban development.

1945. Get a few Warbirds fresh on the market at scrap prices and see The USS Enterprise CV-6 and USS New Mexico BB-40 before they were scrapped.

1989-Meet my 8 year old self and give some advice about growing up and life in general. Invest in Apple and Microsoft.

Serious answer this time:

July 1969 - Apollo 11

1923 - enter the first 24 hours of Le Mans. Come last because I’m in a DeLorean

2200 - curiosity

Several people have gotten deeper than I expected. That’s ok.

First Le Mans would be something. I would want to add Dec 1903 in Kitty Hawk. Just walk up and be the local who took th picture.

Just ONE slug could get you in serious trouble; Use a slug to go back and take the slug away before you used it. What happens then? BIG BANG MK. II

I’d just do the classic giving myself lottery numbers. I’d do the most recent numbers possible, to reduce my chances of breaking anything.

I’d also go back to see myself beingborn, because that’s be a pretty big mindfuck.

Also, you could probably multiply slugs by going back in time and taking 3 of 6 each time,so you always come out 1 ahead, but don’t break the quantum contingency.

Can’t do that. Same reason you can’t go back and teach Hitler to be a better artist.

Good one. I always wondered how different classical pieces might’ve been performed while the composers were alive. Same with performances of Shakespeare’s plays.

I think I might change my 1969 one to 1972. Show up just after Apollo 17 launches in full view of the public, and let them know we won’t be visiting the moon anytime soon.
